The CZU Lightning Complex Fire continues to be active in the Alba Road drainage down to Western Avenue. Additionally fire is active above the Scenic Drive drainage, Hubbard Gulch and the El Solyo Truck Trail. Ben Lomond Fire Department crews have been fighting fire and building fire control lines from Brookdale to El Soylo Heights in Felton.
Crews from Cal Fire and throughout California continue to arrive to reinforce efforts in the Ben Lomond area.
Weather conditions over the past few days have been favorable for fire control efforts. While fire control and suppression efforts continue to move in a positive direction the threat for loss remains.
Today our efforts are focused on monitoring the work we’ve done and crews will continue to reinforce control lines and attack active fire.
