Valley Fire Awareness Project
The Mission of the VFAP is:
To promote a greater understanding of the fire dangers of living in heavily wooded areas.
To raise the public awareness of the dangers of using fireworks and smoking materials in extreme dry conditions.
To work in cooperation with all the valley fire departments, Sheriff’s Office, CHP, Cal Fire and numerous volunteer organizations and individual citizens.
Through public awareness and education we hope to alleviate the extreme fire danger that exists in our great community especially in these times.
All residents of the SLV are welcome and encouraged to participate in our project. Any financial help to help offset the cost of printing signs and banners would be greatly appreciated. If we could get $5 from individuals, $10 from families and $25 from businesses, it would help insure that this grass roots organization will succeed in its mission.
Please send check to Ben Lomond Firefighters Association, at the address below, and earmark your check for the Valley Fire Awareness Project (VFAP).
